New 182(hopefully)

Just been to the dealership,test driving a 182 tomorrow.Just gotta persuade wife taht its time for a new car.They said I was lookin at 6-7 grand trade in.Thought this was quite a good price,specuially if its nearer 7 grand.If I order this week there is an 8 week delivery estimate,think I will go for the arctic blue with cup packs,theres a cup in the same colour with stripes on in the showroom,looked stunnning.

The 182 Cup is either Racing Blue or Inferno?
The Artic blue is the metallic blue (I have it too).

Use your part ex as a bargaining tool, say you want 8k - all they do is knock it off the top and adjust the sale price, better still sell yours privately if you can be bothered with the agro.

Dont get blue! unless its racing blue....... Its like the mk1s, 90% of them where silver, now with the 182s loads are in arctic blue

So based on that people should chose a colour they dont actually want just to be different?

gonna get the cup packs too,is there any real need to get the suspension pack?Ive always been happy with the ride of my 172.Although I want the anthracite wheels.

I cant comment on how the 182 without Cup packs handles, but with its far superiour to the 172, but the ride does suffer because of this.

my 172 is also silver and im also bored with it ut i wanna wait till feb and see these new recaros in the cars, i would proberbly choose black again

the guy at the dealers was proper tryin to push me to order this week!He never mentioned the recaros and when I asked him when the new model was coming out he reckoned not till late next year.Im not really ready to change til july but I wanna get anew one before ny next service(yhe 36000 one)as Iknow this will be big bucks!

the new one was correct late 2006 is correct, however new options are coming out for the 182 mid feb i beleive
