i have no idea about interior audio... so help would be really apprciated!

Not bad for a freebie!

What headunit do you have?

Unless your Dad gave you it, you need to go buy a wiring kit.

It'll have the power cable with fuse (goes from the battery to the amp), an RCA cable (goes from headunit to amp, send the audio signal), a remote cable (tells the amp to turn off when the headunit is off) and speaker cable to go between the amp and sub.

Make sure the level/gain on the amp is all the way down or you'll kill something.

omg i tried to make as much sense as i can, and from common sense i think i know what your talkin about... i deffo need a wiring kit because the guy stil had the wires wired up in his car, and my head unit is standard atm but am thinkin of getting a new one soon..
this is the first time ive come across in car stuff,.. i never done anything besides the exterior..

does it make a difference because it says 360 watts?
i dont understand wires.. its getting fustrating lol some one make a list and links of what i need to buy and il buy it to fix it all up lol

You need a wiring kit (the one above comes with everything including terminals and connectors, even the correct fuse) and a new headunit.

Your sub and amp are rated at 250w and 290w respectively so you'll have some overhead with that wiring kit.

What's your budget on a H/U?

oh right i see mate

erm, nothing over £200

afterall am not guna sat staring at it all the time, if it does the job with the sub and amp and ipod it will do

ha i can see, they look good, the one you have looks pretty neat aswel! argh cant wait to get this all done

Whatever you do, don't scrimp on the H/U is my advice.

It's what processes all the different frequency's from the cd/ipod and sends them out to all the correct area's. Well that's the idea, but anything less than £100 tends to struggle doing that properly.

When you do get one, try it before you fit the sub with the standard speakers, I bet the difference in quality will be quite surprising.

No problem.

If you need help with anything else, get in touch and I'll do my best to help out. :)
