New aux belt and pulley now it clicks ... Help

Just had new aux belt and tensioners and now the belt sounds like it's clicking ... Is it overtensioned ?

I did it , used all renault parts , used the usual method of jubilee clip etc ,

Cup or non cup? Am assuming non cup as you mentioned tensioners. (Reason for asking is it's easy to misroute the cup setup and it catches on the lower cover)
edit : ignore that, if you used jubilee it has to be non cup.


not sure what you mean by "clicking" tbh, can you detail a bit more about what noises and when they happen?

its auto tensioning so you can't have tensioned it wrong.

Have you done the lower idler bearing up correctly?

My van clicked.. it was a frayed belt but doubt thats ur problem

Yes mate , idler is tight , just seems odd , the clicking is Click click click click
rather than. Click .......... Click ........ Click. , does that make sense ? Lol
