New Battery

WHen my system is up full the lights for the clock and the healights beat to the bass do i need a new battery?

Yep!!

mine used to do that!!

cap might sort it but just get a higher capacity battery (as big as you can fit in the tray

or get a nice deep cycle exide/optima jobby

My heavy duty battery still does it, but.. its not half as bad as it used to be. As long as the alternator is charging it ok, then a little dimming shouldnt be a problem.

My lights dim when I turn me heater/fan on!

best part of £300 quid get an exide one they are cheaper and better

i was told that if u change the thickness of your power cable, this could help, is this true? Ive got 4-gauge, and when i turn mine up, the lights do go. but if i change it to 2-gauge will this help?

Has anyone got one of the optima red or yellow tops? Had a flat battery last week due to not using the car for a while are they worth extra dosh?
