New brakes - Brembo HCs or Max? + what pads?

  LY R26, LY 182
I am thinking of changing the discs and pads all round on the 182.

I've got a price of £170 for Brembo HC discs front and rear and Brembo pads, or £200 for HC rears and Max's on the front, again with Brembo pads.

What do people reckon, I've seen several people saying just go with the OEM pads if you're not taking it on the track, and just want for day-to-day driving? Will these Brembo's be ok for this?

Should I pay the extra £30 for the Max's?

This has been covered a million times, this week.

HC's are more than adequate for the road, Max's are a bit prettier though.

To be honest, if it's just used for normal road use, upgrading the brakes at all is a waste of time.

brembo hc front are fine for all kinds of use tbh and if your not on track std pads will do but if your commute or area you live as some fast country roads etc you may want to consider some mintex m1144/ferodo ds2500 loads of options but hc discs are fine

I've got Brembo HC's and Mintex M1144's... the combination's awesome - massive improvement over standard and good for fast road + several track days!
