New car soon here - my first clio sport

  Clio sport 200
Hi guys I'm new to the forum. Looking forqard to picking up my my new clio sport start of march after my last car was written off by a dozy 17yr driver hitting a parked car! Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts of running the car in. I've been told 2 different things by people from Renault. First one said to redline in a couple of gears as soon as I got the car to "loosen" her up, I wasn't too convinced by this as I thought it was a given that you had to try and do atleast 1000 before accelerating hard?? The second guy was on my train of thought. Any ideas??

Welcome to the site mate, was the first person to give you that advice a boy racer by any chance lol?

Second bit of advice sounds better to me, and by the sounds of it better to you as well, so I would stick with it!

Many thanks I did think it was a strange thing for him to say but then as he sells just clio sports I didn't know who to believe. Not sure if I could wait 1000 to rag it though!! Especially going from a vx220 to a clio I wanted the practicality but wanna enjoy my driving too.
