Err... VX220 Turbo boring?! Lotus Carlton boring?!

I bet it doesnt handle well, its a Vauxhall. And before you say the VX220 handles well, its basically a Lotus not a Vauxhall chasis.

1.6 turbo - fuel consumption? Ive heard how bad the cooper s is with its supercharger!

its heavier than the clio and only a little more power so it cant be faster really it dont have that much more torque does it !!

my supervisor was looking at the new Mini cooper s and the review he read said they got 19mpg on their test. Talk about drinker! and i though my Cup was juicey.

hmm, i cant see a corsa handling better than a 172.........ever. Theres no way i bung £15K on a Vauxhall, just think what else you could buy.

Its, all well and good having 180 BHP but if the chassis aint stiff enough you wont be able to use it...pointless.....and its a corsa

The new Corsa is gonna be f**king rapid, dont think any of us Clio boys are gonna stand a chance in a straight line, now I know you all think Vauxhalls are boring but they always underspec the perfomance figures on paper, I own a G plate GTE which I f**k about with and take on the odd track day , I also own a Clio Cup, I tell you its a f**king close contest in a straight line, considering the GTE is 13 years old it can stick with the cup in a race.

The older Opel / Vauxhalls may have had decent power for straight line stuff, but Ive not known one which was really a beast in the cornering department except for maybe the Astra Coupe, but even that cannot outclass the Clio in cornering ability.

Of all the models they have, the corsa is also the least likely to even be mentioned amongst the greats, and whilst the new corsa is a nice little run about, they are overstressing the chassis with all that power.
