New custom dash inserts

Finally got round to doing something with one of the sets of dash inserts ive got here. I bought a huge sheet of genuine Alcantera (not cheap!) so used some of that.

I think they came out very well... what's everyone think?

The idea was to be a bit different from the whole 'colour code everything' gang

DURING AND AFTER

now, what do i use the rest of the 2mx1m sheet of Alcantera for? lol

How about doing the gear knob insert?

That is a relief, I had an awful feeling you were going to spray them inferno! Looks quite classy I think, all these silver bits look like a cheap hi fi.

They are different I will give you that, I like the idea, but just makes the dash look very dark, would be cool to see them in different colours.

Not my cup of tea to be honest, would like to see them in the flesh as somtimes pics arnt that good at showing detail.

I suppose you cant really glue turinis to the dash.

Make a matching gear gaiter cover? i got my ex's mum to do mine when i had the 1.2 16v
Matched the *cough boot install cough*

Hmm, i will stand corrected when I see the photos, colourcoded dash inserts just remind me of cars where the external paint is viewable from the inside like my old polo, where the door cards didn't cover the whole door if you get my drift. I reckon gloss piano black would look sweet.
