Yo,
done 500 miles in my new engine (1.4 16v), took most of your advice and gave it a good rev thru the range of gears when warmed up, taking it to 5k.
just been checkin my mpg the past week and if I drive really slow (changes at 2k) my mpg average is like 35mpg, if I lash it its like 28!
It used to be 42 and 36, is this typical of a new engine or have I spanked it too hard?
