New F. Bumper and Bonnet - 172 Cup

I'm wondering if anyone can get me the price of a new Front Bumper and Bonnet for a 172Cup.

If they are already painted Mondiale Blue (then all the better, but if not, then just let me know on the price)

My front end is looking even worse (lacquer peel and stone chips) and just wondering if it would be cheaper to buy the new bits rather than go for a respray and relacquer (sp?)

They dont come painted im fairly certain of that.

So you might aswel re-do yours as you'll need the new one painting anyway..

Cheers for that, its just that I'm trying to get a price, as with the imperfections on my bonnet and bumper, I'm tempted to say stuff it, replace them, then get them done. At least the finish should be perfect...rather than whats on there now.

No fella...there is a shedload of lacquer peel on the front end. The car from base of windscreen backwards is brilliant condition paintwork wise, but the front quarter is peeling badly. The car is 5 years old next month with 91,000 on it...but even still, the overall front end looks poor!

any decent bodyshop can sort laquer peel mate, its no major thing

Might aswell get ur old bonnet and bumper resprayed any good bodyshop cant sort out anything and make it mint mate no point in spending loads on a new bumper and bonnet migth aswell save the money and spend it on something else for the car

My old driver's wing was smashed by a Car battery (don't ask)...cost best part of £600 to replace inner and outer wing and spray/blend.

Since then, the lacquer hasn't been the best at staying intact...wonder whether the battery acid may still be doing damage (or done the damage, just waiting for it to all come to a head!)

I was advised to find the price out, so best option can be worked out. I don't want to shell the money out for respray/lacquer redone, for it to look like it does now in not too distant future.

I'm gonna blend in the washer jet holes like you have, seen the other thread and think it looks nice. :approve:

yeah cheers mate get a proper well none bodyshop to spray it then if it f***s up go abck to them and they shud sort it again
