Maybe it doesn't need to come on? I've never had the fan come on in any car i've had.

the temp gauge goes up above half way (where the fan would normally kit in) but nothing

Dr would check your fan dude as every car at some point will need the fan mainly on a hot day in a traffic jam or after a good thrashing

Yeh, i cant believe youve never had a fan come on!

  Lots of Alfas
^Never been around a safari park then..

The fans in renaults generally dont come on until they get pretty hot. I think they will activate at 100 degrees and stay on until 80degrees. Someone will probably correct me there.

Next time i'm in a traffic jam i'll pop the hood and take a look, temp needle never rises.

After you go on a long journey, or a big rag of your car... can you still hear a fan spinning after you turn off your car, lock it and walk away?

Really? my car doesnt do it every time, if ive been driving about an hour or two the fan will stay on after i leave my car for a it

Drove 400 miles to scotland a few months ago, never did it once then.

Check the fuses, the relay and if they don't show up a fault, then run a pair of wires from the battery straight to the fan connector to make sure that is working.

Just leave the car idling with air con on full in a restrictive place and yo'll hear the fan cut in after some time even better leave the engine running higher rpm as well
