New Front brakes.....Pics

  Looking for a ph-quick...
Been wanting to change my front discs and pads for a while now, fortunately a friend of mine works at Halfrauds and he hooked me up with a cancelled order of some grooved and drilled discs, so of course they were mega cheap! I also invested in some EBC green Stuff pads..
So yesterday being my day off, i took advantage of the weather and cracked on!

New and old discs

Admitidally the discs are far from Brembos in a matter speaking, they do retail at £80 a set though. Anything is better than rusty old standards discs though.

Pads....

Old Disc off and hub copper greased up....

New Disc and pads on and caliper in place, made a mess of my calipers that i painted not long ago so will be re-douing these on sunday!

After which took her out to run them in, thanks to whoever posted the guide on running brakes in!
Also a big thankyou to Danlp6 for giving me a bit of insight on getting them changed. Braking is so much better theres no fade when there hot and there so much sharper!

Cheers

the bedding in process is cruicial too.
Dont do the slow braking for 100 miles crap, what your trying to do is heat the pads gradually so that you burn off and bond the resins.
go up to 60mph and slow down gradually to 5mph (dont stop or you'll leave pad deposits which lead to judder), then do it again and brake a tad harder, keep going but never stopping....brake harder each time....about 7-10 passes is fine and the brakes should be hot, smoking, then you can drive like normal.
