new head unit fitted on tuesday

i am getting the AVH-P6400CD fitted and a dvd player which will go in my glovebox should look really good cant wait will post some pics when its done.

thanks colin i look forward to haering it as well in my car should soud quite good with my sub i have the ts-wx20lpa sub so should sound good thinking about putting dolby 5.1 in as well not sure yet though would also like two screens in the head rest but dont know how easy this is to do?

Ive got one already, not the CD headunit, just the AVH6400R with a 6disc changer + PS2!!!!!

Just out of interest, where are you getting from, and how much are you paying???

i got mine from cel electronics paid £749 but also got a dvd player as well total price was about £1000 want to do the headrests now but that could be a bit pricey.

sounds bloody great though with the sub the whole car has been done in pioneer they are the best in my eyes.

i agree!!!! Pinoeer is brilliant!!!!

Speak to Evil ICE or Liquid ICE, one of them quoted me £475 to have to screens mounted into the headrests!!!!

Having read your post you might be able to help me, I am putting back the original headunit as selling the car.

I went to connect the plugs back in and power is present as the cd player is making a noise but no displays comes back on and no sound other than bleeting when i press buttons, I know I have to put my code in but cant do this until i can see the display. I have plugged in the black, blue and white plugs and the yellow hole is empty on the headunit, could this be the reason its not displaying. I have looked for a yellow plug but pretty sure there are only 3 to go back in.

um not sure mate i had mine fitted at my local audio shop so dont know could ask evil ice on here he will be able to help you sorry i cant help.
