New Ignition Coils - what do I get?

It seems I need a new ignition coil, or 4 (might as well change them all). From what I understand its a common fault for these things to screw up. What I wanna ask is which ones do I get? I see little point in getting the standard ones if i'm gonna need to replace them every few thousand miles. Are there any decent one made by alternative manufacturers? Also, can you get performance coils?? If so, how much these gonna be? (I understand standard ones about 60 quid for the set, that right?), and are they gonna make any noticeable difference in performance on a 2003 1.4 16v.

Stock ones will last ages they just fail. they should last at least 20k.
Forget performance ones.
