New Induction & Custom Air Feed.

Fitted the induction kit a couple of weeks ago without the cold air feed which really imprved the throttle response but did feel a bit rough because of the hot air.

I had a think about how I was going to mount the C.A.F and decided to utilise the foglight hole covers, I got some spare covers from Daz (Cheers Mate) and cut a hole to size for the aluminium end, Im really impressed by the pull the engine has now, the roar is nice too.

Thanks to lightning_16v for getting the cold air feed for me.

cheers mate, I would recomend pipercross, they haxe a larger surface area on the filter than the k&N, therefore more airflow;)

  2004 Clio 1.2 16v

i had a piperX before was ok but i want the k&n roar just to beef it up a bit only a 1.2 and my exhaust is a little loud

Is you want rasp, go for k & N, if you want a whistly deep puffing noise, go for piper cross,

with mine if I rev it just above 4000 you can here the cams and a nice deep bbbwwwwwwaaaaaaabbbbbbbbb lol:oops:

I know, next job is to fabricate a aluminium shield around it to stop the radiator heat blowing on it, no ideal, but its definetly ten times better than the standard setup, much more tourque

the cold are feed you have there wont do much as its not directly sucking cold air, maybe a bit more than normal but still alot of hot air around
