it replaces the standard airbox with an uglier plastic-made-carbon-look airbox that has an itg panel filter in it - which you can get for the standard airbox - Dooooh
Induction filter or panel filter..... Does not matter... As long as it only draws cold air, and even with a "ram" (LOL) effect, it will work... But i think theres a cone sheped filter in it though...
Green makes a similar filter for the Saxo and 106... It sure does work!!! Citroën and Peugeot uses their own carbon item on these cars when racing them.
The "ram" effect will in theory raise the power output because of a higer pressure at the T/B..... But you need to go very very very fast to actually being able to measure this...
Think "ram" effect has been mentioned in an earlier thread...
Theyve been using Ram Air on bikes for a few years now. It DOES work, giving extra power throughout the rev range, and not just at 160mph! Obviously the faster you go, the more benefit you get.
It relies on having lots of high pressure cool air from the front of the vehicle. Not sure whether thats possible behind the Clio front grille?
Yep it will work.... but i doubt that you will actually be able to tell the difference between a normal induction kit and a kit with "ram" effect.... I do believe that it is possible to measure the difference on a R/R though....
Remember that there are probably a few more sharp (90 deg.) on the piping on a car than a bike.... Sharp bends really are crap when ducting air (pressure drop)
