Hi, finally got my arse in gear and joined up. My names Matt and Ive had my 95 16v for about a month. Im only 18 so its costing me a fortune in insurance, but its well worth it.Im current still at 6th form college, infact godders182 on here is a teacher there lol.Anyway, my car is more or less standard apart from its lowered -60mm, has 172 wheels fitted, Green induction kit and usually a de-cat pipe but the cats on for the MOT at the minute.I raced it at York a couple of weeks ago and ran a best of <a href= "mailto:15.57@87mph">15.57@87mph, which isnt too bad I thought.Had 2 major problems already. First one was the day after racing it the 3rd gear selector fork exited the diff housing by punching a hole through it. This is now fixed, right ball ache to get the box in and out (came with a recon box when I bought it) but its all sorted now. Managed the job in 4 days. Then yesterday, a woman got a bit too eager pulling out of a junction and drove into the side of me. Gladly there wasnt much damage (smashed 3/4 side trim and split the drivers side wheel arch) but Ive now bodged it back together for the MOT. I am thinking of fitting an arch repair panel myself as I can weld and generally do bodywork, but the area looks to be quite hard to repair due to a high risk of welding distortion. Can anybody with experience of doing this repair give me some pointers please?Anyway ill post some pics up. http://server3.uploadit.org/files/4x4100E-PhotoTrip015.jpghttp://server3.uploadit.org/files/4x4100E-PhotoTrip015.jpg
