Hi all, I'm new to the forum, new to Clios infact new to french cars altogether. I've always had Japanese performance cars so this is a big change for me.

I took this in a part ex for my impreza Type R. Initial feelings are I'm slightly underwhelmed to be honest. I'm really missing the power of my impreza, of course I kind of expected this but I was expecting the clio to feel quicker than it does being so light. Hopefully I will be more impressed when I get it on some proper roads and a track day and hopefully it will come into its own a bit. I also don't like the noise it makes, maybe an aftermarket exhaust is in order? It's a standard trophy with 55k and full service history.

Check out the Clio Projects sub-forum - there are some very well-modded cars in there which you'll be able to draw on for some inspiration!

It's a great car to step up to, and even if you're stepping down it's still a great car with epic handling, but it may be harder to gel with having had what you have. Enjoy it, it has plenty to offer!!

Ok so I've spent the day out on my favourite B roads.....and I'm starting to get it . The handling is sublime, I've had a couple of integras and it's definitely on a par with them. Still not a fan of the engine, but maybe turbos have made me lazy, got to get back into the habit of revving it's nuts off to get anywhere. Definitely needs a beefier exhaust, any reccomendations? Not looking for anything too boyracerish!
