I seem to be getting on well with the Hex Logic range by Chemical guys.

Waxamomo has 10% off this weekend and i think they are the cheapest anyway before the 10%

Hex are the best spot pads and the most robust.

Gally / Dave which Hex pads should I be looking for, had the Menz Orange, yellow and white. Used mainly on Renault paint.

White / cutting
Yellow / finishing
Orange / polish

Iirc

Do you want to be cutting the paint? Are you using a rotary?

I've got

yellow - cutting
green - heavy polish
white - light polish
blue - finish

(i think the above is correct)

Gally, DAS.

Don't really need to be cutting paint, but it was useful on the lights and I have a few other sets to sort.

I'd get a polishing pad for the painf anyway. Stick with green one. One step polish then glaze with a finishing pad. :)

So Menz polish on a green pad, Poor boys White Diamond on finishing pad and top with AF tough coat job done?

Late to the party but agree on the 3M or Hex logic shouts.

Always welcome to the party mate ;)

So the poorboys, any good as a glaze / pre wax cleaner or should I just bin it and look for something better?

That's spot on mate. If you want a tad more from your glaze look at Prima Amigo. Superb glaze.

If you already have it, use the PBWD as it's perfectly acceptable. More than that.

If not, buy this Prima that Kev keeps harping on about. I've not tried it, but I'm starting to be out of touch and I'd trust Kev's opinion on detailing as much as he trusts mine on Champagne. And that's saying something ;)

If you come to CSS I'll bring some. Probs won't be driving so you can have a glass and I'll get pished.
