Ok, nothing major (and certainly not unique!) - but my old plates were looking tired and in need of a revamp.
First off, the dirty rear. I don't know if the plate has warped with the sun over the years, or if the dealership tried to line-up the holes within the lettering. Either way, it looked neat - except the plate bent out and away from the boot lid.
Cleaned up and ready for the new one...
Touched up the screw-holes in the bootlid with a bit of this stuff. Probably overkill, but it hey-ho!
In place - and looking a lot better.
The front plate was a bit more of a pain in the arse. The head of the screw was completely shot - it just crumbled with the screwdriver bit. Having cut the plastic cap off, it came out easily enough with pliers.
I thought it looked good without the front plate on, actually....
All done on the front too...
All it needs now is a good wash. A job for tomorrow....... maybe.
