new steering wheel

i wanna get a new steering wheel of any kind not sure yet, its to go on a mk2 ph1 and was wondering if anyone had any experience of taking a stearing wheel off and replacing it with a new one, is it easy or does it require extreme skill, and even a professional.

help would be extremely grateful, cheers

do a search on the removal of it,dead easy,just make sure you d/c the battery and leave it 30mins to discharge the airbag then remove it carefully following the instructions on here,someone wrote the instructions the other week...

I just bought a RSi leather one from Renault for my 172 PH1, cost me £220. Looks much more hard wearing than the peeled original one! Very pleased with it.
