Been on the lookout for a quick track car for a while, was looking at VTR/106/205 etc with the hope of having a track car to turn into a Stock Hatch car for the 750 championship.
I was all set on building up a car from near scratch, when a mechanically mint (but cosmetically tired) Mk2 XR2 came up for sale. Fully race ready and proven competitiveness in recent seasons.
So, I bit the bullet, spent a little more than I'd initially wanted to, but pick it up tomorrow, so will get some better pics then. The plan is to do a few trackdays this year, as I've not done many (on solid tarmac) in the past and enter a few of the races at the end of the year (silverstone, snetterton and oulton) funds permitting!
Also managed to get hold of a trailer for the bargainous price of £200 - which is now fully painted and undersealed.
