After the G220 packed up i got this..

Kestrel Rotary

Had a little got on my bonnet and its a completely different machine, i got used to it pretty quick but ive got alot to learn!

Loose concentration for 1 second and the rotary is in you neigbours garden :rasp:

It has a short cable but its easy to put a bigger one on according to detailing world.

Looking forward to finishing my full detail which the broken g220 stopped me from doing

Completely different, works the polish is so well and with ease.

I say with ease but its harder to work with than a DA i.e controlling it, but its worth it. I had a bad back after half of the bonnet lol

The rotary itself was £60/£70

The part the backing plate screws in to came loose.. some clip snapped inside. Its still under warranty but i havent rang up since, according to detailing world they will replace the whole unit :approve:

Depends on the correction needed really.

I corrected with the MenzIntensive Polish using the G220. I then got the bonnet and top half of all round the car done with the Final finish using the g220 but thats when it packed up.

Once the rotary came i began the Final Finish stage again and Im half way through with the Final Finish which gives a beautiful finish its great to use mate!

Yes! I've got the technique Done a great job for my first attempt :rasp:

Its better to work with because it will give a better finish quicker and its breaks the polishes down with ease.

Its easy to use but will require more involvement that the G220

It's very weird making the change - MUCH harder to control where it goes, but as you say, it will correct FAR quicker than a DA will.

The Flex 3401 is a good middle ground, but it's not cheap!

Also, I found it much easier to control with spot pads
