New Tyre Time

  BMW 320d M-Sport
OK, so I'm due four new tyes on the 197 and I'm not sure what's best to go for? I'm happy to stick with the Conti's in a way but just considering the choices.

What's the difference between a tyre that is reinforced and one that isn't?

Kwik Fit currently have the Conti Sport 3's for £108 each which sounds good, but then Michelin PE2's are £119 each. Which to go for?

There are also Hankook tyres at £77 a corner on BlackCircles or Goodyear Eagle F1's at £85 a tyre.

What are your thoughs and what would you go for?

Thanks, Rich

I've got Goodyears on my 172 seem quite a good all round tyre, and lot less wear than my old Conti Sport 3s. Haven't tried the other tyres so can't comment.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evos! Tried the Goodyear Eagle F1's, not bad but wear too quick and not very strong sidewalls on the 195/45 profile. The Michelin PE2's were pretty good when I had them, but the Hankooks are equally as good for me and there half the price almost!
