Hi Everyone

Im a new user to the Forum. My name is Sharon and im from Sheffield. Have recently purchased a 172 Cup and its FANTASTIC! Im having alot of fun driving it. :)

The only drawback so far is ive been caught speeding! So a nice 3 points and a fine are on theyre way.... :(

I came along to the Matlock meet yesterday with Faz182 so have met some of you already... Had a great day and am looking forward to the next one!!!

Anyway we are talking Cars not Football!

Getting back on the subject i am so glad i decided to go with the cup 172... Its the third car i have owned and by far the most exciting to drive... after having a Saxo VTR that i could chuck round corners etc.. i was worried the cup wouldnt stick to the road as well.. but so far the handling has been excellent... Still getting used to it though. I either Rev it too much or end up stalling in first!!!!

Its only been a week though so im sure things will just get better and better...

that was your name was it,nice to meet you.

i thought my clutch/biting point was strange at first but i got used to it. unlike other models the clutch pedal doesnt have much feel does it.

got done speeding already:eek: that proves cups are faster he he;)

I agree the pedal doesnt have alot of feel.... Ill get there!

Been offered spax lower kit for my clio for £150 six mounths old. Need to no how easy it is to fit and if the price is write

a bit off topic but never mind.

is it for shocks and springs? ok price if it is. fitting prices will vary depending where you go (£40>£100). i charge £40

I was at the back to start with. I was following the guy in the black Clio. He was holding me up a bit to be honest (dont want to sound cruel). Didnt get his name but he was a decent bloke with his woman and was his first meet, just like me. Sounded like he was from Nottingham/Derby area.

When we met up at the pub I got into 3rd a spot behind a silver 172 and the hooligan in the piss yellowy green 1.4! Madman. God knows what hes like in his Caterham thing!

Still not got the hang of this bloody Quote malarky on this forum. I press the button and all this jibberish sh*t comes up!

Im only on one photo, and that was when we were parked up!!! :( I blame the black Clio for holding me up.
