New Wheels, getting there with mods.

Bought my full fat 172 in August for my birthday and have been slowly modding it up. Some will of these mods will meet with the approval of the masses some are personal taste only.

Went to a local meet and saw some of the things the other guys had done and started to crack on so to speak. I decided to go for a black on silver look, very stealthy should we say.

There are certain things I did not like: side repeaters, bland seats, beesting ariel, std alloys etc.

And certain things I did (but mine didn't have): cup splitter, v6 seats, turini's

This far I have added:

Some graphics
Coloured the renault logo's on seats (worlds cheapest mod)
Cup Splitter
Front air ducts
K&N 57i Induction Kit
Full Magnex 6x4 oval SS exaust system
Oz Ultraleaggia F1 Renault Matt Black 16" alloys
LED side repeaters
Front Silvertech indiciator bulbs
Rear Lazer Vision LED lights
JVC MP3 Player and upgrade front speakers to Kenwood 3 ways
and a Sharkfin Ariel

I hope to get some better pics when its clean and the weather is better. Mods still to come are carbon bonnet, apex 40's and a better roof spoiler.

Think you've made a good start so far, If it was me i'd of gone for a different exhaust and different rear lights. But what screams out the most to me is lower it

p.s. get some trim dressing on those black plastic bits !

tbh the exhaust was a rush job as the day after i bought it I went over a railway crossing up by seahouse and caught the std system ripping it off.

I was in a hurry to replace and ebay came to the rescue with a next day delivery. In hind sight I would have preferred to get a less bulkone and cut into the bumper. But the wife will kill me if I mention that

Long life felt tips from asda. slowly drag them along the thread allowing the ink to stain (darkest colour first) then using a hair dryer and kitchen roll to dry. £1.50 and the son got them when I was finished

i think its sitting up a little more than usual as it had just been jacked up and the shocks will not have settled but apex 40's will be on the way next month to sort that out
