New wheels on the TT.

If you're not careful with this thread, you'll overtake JasonE as the new forum try-hard.

It looks better; and in all honesty, no one on here cares enough about the other stuff for you to make such a point of it.

The wheels need a refurb though.

Oh and I used to like you!

Had a chat with some geezer that runs a refurb place earlier. Told me £180 to do all four. Sounds good to me, is that about right?

Painted callipers look gash, and even though the wheels look better it still looks dated

but thats just my opinion :) MEH

Bargain price then! Get them done.

For additional hate, do them some stupid colour.

Standard silver dudes.

I personally think it looks quite respectable for a young chaps motor, glad it's boring, don't wanna mess around with it.

tint those windows like the night sky!

Any way of getting M3 mirrors on there for good measure?

Are you some sort of c**t?

You've got racing stripes on a Clio FFS!

No no no, I actually like the TT, just bantering with you.

And yes, I'm fully aware of the sodding stripes, I should have just got rid of them when I got the car in the first place, except someone's probably keyed obscenities into the bodywork below.

Why?
Audis and the like have them!!!

not on Mk.1 TT's they didn't.

I see plenty of motors generally being driven by Eastern Europenas that are just gluing LED's to any available surface and they all, without fail, look gash

slam it slam it slam it!!

Does look nice. I'll give you that.

However i drive it every day through the bumpy/potholed streets of London. And i got the car to be boring and blend in with normal motorists, as i got bored of being embarrassed of people asking why my car is scraping the ground when turning up to a location shoot or taking people out, and struggling to think of a reason why. Grown out of it all now really.

Looks good lippy, get them refurbed and they'll look much better.

If you actually clean it, and dare I say... wack a bit of tyre shine on it, it'll probably look bang tidy, not a bad motor for a young lady at all.

Much improved over the original wheels. I've no idea what the hell is going on in the OP though.

Though I do agree with your sentiments on the 'lowz' - generally a pain in the arse to make a car drive worse in many cases.

Looking much better. Will look fresh with the wheels redone and a good polish.

Plate surround on the rear is a bit messy imo.

Fair enough for not lowering it mate, I do get what you mean about having people (girls, mainly) asking why you drive a car that can't get anywhere.
