Newbie confused about Xenons

Hello,


(had a search but personally not found anything specific/conclusive)

I have a 182 thus xenons. Q: Which bulbs are xenons? Just the fogs, beams, dipped or a combination of some/all?


After that (and taking a look to see which bulb has gone) I think I'm fine as I gather from other threads that if it is a xenon I'll need the D2S type i.e. this (sticking below 6000k) and if it's "just" halogen bulb I can grab one from Halfords etc

The dipped beam bulbs are the xenons. The rest of your bulbs are halogen ones.

Yes you will need D2S type replacements and I would personally go for 6000K bulbs as these tend to look the best. Factory is 4300K bulbs but anything over 6000K looks crap.

I have 5000k lights. A ton better than standard. Make sure you replace both sided otherwise it'll look crap.

Thanks for the confirmation, much appreciated. Haha, I guess it had to be said, but yes I will be replacing both at the same time t ensure a matching colour
