Newbie - think i bought a bargain????!!!

Alright fellors

Ive always wanted a project car and hope ive come across a beauty.

'94 Black Clio valver

Bought with no tax or MOT (just run out)

112k - body looks all good, just needs a t-cut.

Boot could do with replacing, as had a dodgy repair (anyone?)

needs 1 dark grey centre cap to complete (anyone?)

and a passenger side phase 2 (instead of the phase 1 on there?!) rear cluster (anyone?)

other things to look at is a blow in the exhaust.

and il need to have a look at the brakes.

gear box and clutch may need looking at?

it pulled well though?!?

what do you think its worth even for parts? hopefully i havnt been mugged off!!

Matbrown - or Winston are the boys to speak to about parts for valvers.
If you post up in the 'wanted' section they'll prob be able to help you out.

Also check ebay, as rear lights & centre caps come up on there a fair bit.

I remember whan i paid £6000 fo my N plate valver!!!

i gave it a polish up today, come out very well....

plus my first thoughts of a knackered clutch/gear box turns out to be 'thats how they are'. i drive a BMW daily and there is a big difference. But my mate who has had a clio 16v before said thats fine.... Im over the moon about that!!

just got to -
find a decent boot lid
get a k&N cone
stainless cat back
replace brake light
find a forth centre cap
replace the brakes
replace the front bearing
Tax and MOT

then il be happy....
