my 182 will do 29 mpg, you MUST have proof the cambelts have been changed, thats the most expensive part of servicing. tyres for a 03 172 will be 1954516 so try blackcircles.com for rough ideas on prices

itl blow the civic type rs away all day long, and theyl last ages if serviced regulary, box is quite strong, 2nd to 3rd change can crunch sometimes due to beating the synchromesh, but generally a really good motor. you going for a full fat or cup model?

Welcome along, first off, id be spending my money on the best example i can secure with the strongest service history. Dont listen to people that think "They're shite" because a mates uncles cats next door neighbour said so, do your home work - you will have minimal to no problems.

The advert you posted is the oposite of what id be buying. It has no head light washers and aftermarket headlamps, id bet its either seen paint or its been in a shunt, or both. Again, a HPI report will clear that up.

Do a search for running costs, generally they are cheap. The biggest gripe amongst owners is tax and insurance, they are £245 to tax and are a group 31/32 dependant on insurer.

that crap ?

and that about the headlight washers haha i would not have noticed that atall ;)

You have to be one step ahead ;)

That looks well mate, it says o.v.n.o so you could maybe negotiate some off - keep in mind that a cambelt exchange is nigh on £500+ so be wary of any that havent had it done.
