jus a wee thought, my 1st policy started in november 2007, i crashed my car in march 2008, so really i should get 1 years ncb in march 2009 since its been 1 year with no claim secret loop-hole or dumb theory

If you restarted your insurance in march you'd have 1 years no claims.

As far as i'm aware can't add bits of insurance, always thought had to start a years policy then end it with no claims.

ahhhhhhh thats why then, just think it would be a bit p!ss if you started a policy in january and you had an accident the following december

As the good Dr says, only if you started a new policy in March 2008 would you qualify in March 2009 for a year's No-Claims Bonus.

You can't add bits of NCB together, and need to start and complete a year's worth of policy to get a year.

And yes, I'm sure it is very frustrating to get 11 months' worth and then crash!
