No instrument cluster on Clio 182.

Morning all, I not long ago picked up a 182 for the track season that had a few issues.

Since purchasing they seem to have developed more into the entire cluster not working.

At first I had no revs but that’s how progressed into no cluster at all, including the mileage screen.

I’ve tried a second hand set of clocks I knew worked, new UCH kit so all that leaves is wiring.

Is there any specific place I should look first before progressing into stripping the whole loom back?

I did have an instrument cluster fail on mine a year or two after I got it. Thankfully, I returned it to Renault just a week or two before the warranty ran out and they replaced the entire thing.

Unfortunately, they never did say what the problem was - but it did appear to be behaving similar to yours. Certain issues and then more of them as time went on.

I don't even know if you can simply swap a binnacle out, or if some recoding is needed?
