Noise after belt and dephaser change

I fitted a belt kit and new dephaser during the week, also re-sealed the cam cover. Everything was going well, had the car running for ages then went for a drive. Then at approx 3k rpm it started making a screaming supercharger sort of noise? I had the belt covers off today to check it and when the engine is hot the pointers on the tensioner show it is to tight (was perfect when cold) so i backed it off a bit so it was aligned. The noise is still there but not as bad, any ideas? And before anyone says, yes i have the renault tools and guide and i followed it to the letter. Gates belt, ina bearing set.

I had that on my 172 after a belt change. Never found out what the problem was.

where does the tensioner sit?

The pointer in the u shape in th washer bit if that's what you mean?

I think it looks like number1. Another thing I noticed is the centre part of the dephaser looks off centre, like it's wobbling when it rotates. The toothed part looks ok though, is that normal?
