noisey power steering??

Hi! Can anyone help!! When I turn my steering full lock in either direction there is a horrendous screechy 'popping' noise coming from under the lower left hand side of the engine bay. What the hell is it?? It passed the MOT but its embarrasing as it is quite loud. Someone told me it could be the drive shafts?

could be the driveshaft, or one of the track rod ends (inner or outer) or maybe the balljoint. There's no way of really knowing without an physical inspection though
