BMW F21 125d
Just returned from the Nurburgring (AMAZING, thread to follow) did 4 laps and during the laps (in 2 lots of 2), my power steering fluid got REALLY hot, header tank was almost untouchable, and my pump was noticeably louder and think it still is now especially heading towards full lock.
Any track day regulars or B Road thrashers experienced this? I'm hoping the fluid just needs changing as its probably never been done, but could my fears be realised and the pump itself needs replacing? Booked into Birchdown for a quick check on Weds PM but wondered if anyone had similar experiences?
