non cup 182 rear shocks

just phoned up renault @ leeds and there wanting £68+vat for 1 rear shock... Is this the going price or are there trying to pull a fast one...

i tried before with renault to have them replaced under warrenty, but failed.. i kicked off about this and they told me the shocks are under warrenty for 1 year only..

I thought there were in the region of £50 ish + vat..

I know they quoted me £20 ish more but i hate giving them my well earned cash.. Anyone else fine but i hate reanault customer care....

Sounds a bit expensive unless inc fitting. Cost about £54inc vat at my local. And they will replace them over a year old if u phone renault UK and kick off. They did with me anyway.

Rory on here has an 04 plate 182 and has had a 4-5 rear shocks replaced under warranty in the 3 years between may 04 and may 07..

They are but there also covered under the sale of good ct which states that parts have to be fit for purpose so if they leak then there not so there covered.

They will be chnaged if there leaking under warently sound like the dealer didn't want the hastle of arranging it.
