Non-detergent oil?? Compressor oil

Been given an air compressor. It's only 25 litre but it's a 2hp direct drive oil type (no rubber diaphragm) which is good.

I wanted to change the oil in it as i'm having to run the compressor for several mins at a tiime. I found an american wesbite that says they take 30 weight "non detergent" motor oil (30W-ND)?

Google yields no obvious results, WTF is this and where do I buy some? Is it mineral oil??

think I've cracked it. It's just single grade SAE 30 engine oil.

Most will have detergents in so make sure you find one without if that is what is recommended.

you will need some 68 grade mineral oil such as fuchs ac68
