NOS the valver?

  FULL FAT 182
Hello there guys ive currently got a clio mk 1 1.8 16v, ive done a few bits to my car for example full mongoose exhaust system, de-cat, induction kit and bbt chip. But ive gone as far as i can without ripping the engine appart, so i was thinking of getting a nos kit maybe 50/75 bhp jet. I just need to know if this is a good idea.Ideas and insults are welcome ;) .

current power 149.8 bhp fly
current torque 142.3 fly
power wheels 110 bhp.

  Fiat Coupe 20v turbo
will make a big difference 75bhp jets.....but I would be paranoid about damaging my engine..

yeah the thing is i spoke to andy from bbtuning and cams pullys was coming at 1900 including all the set up, making a record breaking 15 bhp lol, 600 quid on the nos kit = 75 bhp. i know its a way of cheating but what the hell.

dutty is ur mates car fast with the nos?
also did he get any problems?
also what jets was he using?

  Vectra :(
gotta think about the cost mate.

Does the £600 for the NOS include a controller? as without one it can be a bit of a waste just spinning the wheels. The controller will only use a certain amount at certain throttle levels and revs etc. If it doesn't include this you will have to add a hundred or so £

The n20 doesnt come cheap, i have a mate that uses a 5lb bottle up in 3 runs up the strip. Not sure on the prices of it but its not a cheap thrill

and if you are using as a way of getting a real performance boost then remember that 99% of the time you will be driving a 150bhp car so if its lack of general performance thats bothering you NOS might not be the way.
