Ye they would have gone about 80-90mm i reckon, maybe even more. As mentioned by 'guppy' be prepared to cut/bend the bumper bracket! Mine catched like a bi**h at first so had to angle grind it down n higher it afew turns.
But ye honest, ive had my cf one for 4 months now n only taken afew scratches, just have to take it easy over speed bumps but personally i think it finishes off the look of the 172, they should of had one on from standard! hope that helps neways m8

Looks great! I've always loved them in black.
As someone else has said, get a carbon splitter from ktec. I think mine worked out at just under £120 once the CS discount had been added.
Make sure you get some photos up as soon as it's lowered. It should look great and i'm interested to see as a comparison to mine. My H&Rs were on when i bought it so i have no idea how much it's lowered.

That looks so damn shiny. Don't like the 172 sticker in the rear side windows, don't see the point of it tbh. 70mm sounds crazy! You're a braver man than I.
People around my area are so dumb, everyone thinks its a 1.2 because they are too incaple of knowing their cars properly! So its my way of telling them not to mess quite simply =) lol
