Now then....... New & need some help

Hello all, picking up my 172 tomorrow phase 1 & in black nice & stock with full service history.

Now I've been told the cambelt has been done but they cannot find the docs......so basically I'm going 2 get that sorted straight away.

I know loads about mr2's but I've got no idea about clios?? How much should I be looking for the cambelt doing??

Basically this car will be a track beast & my mr2 is my fast road car (420 bhp) that is ;-)

depending where you are in the country, there's a few specialists around, avoid renault and non clio knowledgable garages, and you'll be looking somewhere around £500 to do the cambelt with both full belt kits

nah, but more than £250 in parts, 4-5 hours labour, and specialist tools 100% necessary

Its alsoimportant to replace all tensioners, both for the cambelt and aux belt, which is included in the price Danny has quoted
