Odd wobble

Getting a wobble only under acceleration (dip the clutch / throttle off and it goes away), rather than being through the steering, it actually shakes the car side to side between about 30-50mph in any gear - more pronounced under high rpm. Then same above 80, feels ok 50-80 though. Bearings feel tight, ARBs and TREs look fine, driveshafts/boots both look ok. Looks like passenger side spring may be half a coil short, so could do with replacing, but could that be causing the problem? Was thinking it could possibly be a mount on the way out - there's a lot of side-to-side play in the gearstick when in gear.

Any thoughts, CS?

Sounds similar to an issue I had with the cup.

Turns out I had an issue with the diff in the gear box :(

Symptoms were a massive vibration/wobble under acceleration unless driving very conservatively.

Drive shafts, but also sounds like it could be gearbox side one, which if exploded could mean new box :(

Eugh, don't say internal. Was yours only in a certain mph range? Or all the time?

Do a quick search on my started threads ;)

Was only under acceleration, whole car felt like it was shaking to bits, ask James from stone automotive he sorted mine after I tried shafts, wheel and brake disc balancing you name it we tried it!

Are your front wheels straight and true ?

I have had a snapped spring and it didn't give the symptoms your describing
