Oddessy PH1 Track/Race Car

Hi,

Well its about time I started a thread about my little PH1..

its only done 44k with a couple of owners and its totally solid! firstly a couple of pics of how it looked when I got it..

Dodgy backbox + Sticker, Dezent Alloys but with 4 brand new TOYO R1R/PX4 Tyres.

Interior is mint apart from the usual worn out steering wheel and drivers side bolster... couldnt be bothered to take pics of those as I'm sure you all know what they look like!!

First things I did was a 4 wheel alignment, complete Oil and Bulb refresh, Filled the tyres with Nitrogen (better track stability) Looking at the engine I will want to pull it apart to refresh the gaskets and add some stronger bolts and remove the A/C but that can wait until ive got it out around brands or lydden firstly..

Next cosmetically i rubbed down and painted the alloys black and cleaned up/re bled the braking system. Also I painted the calipers red.. not everyones favourite but I like it.. Also I've had the front bumper off today to fit some brake ducts in place of the front fogs and a nice TRS tow strap. Oh and I've added some Later tail lights!

This is how she looks as of about 3pm today.

Up next is GAZ GOLD Coilovers and OMP steering wheel (targa 330mm)

Personally i wouldn't buy the gaz coilovers and just track it as it is.

Its going to be tracked as it is very soon! But overtime this is going to become a full race car.. so its a good start, I've got lots of experience of Gaz with MK1+2 Escorts

Hi from one Russ to another lol.

A good cheap spec is decent pads (ds2500 is the usual) brembo hc discs (see Gman on here), braided hoses, and spax shocks and springs work very very well

oh and get a decent seat in it, the better driving position will make more of a difference than anything lol

Been busy with the car today, fitted studs and 15mm spacers. Camber kit front and rear. Painted the ducts black! Pics to follow,
