odyssey battery ISSUES who else has had issues?

I am having a night mare with a leading supplier of a 12v Gel battery and there being very very protective over the whole issue.

I have had 3 odyssey batterys and both have failed. The First one blew up double its size and i was told it had been over charged! It hadnt been and the alty was brand new!

I would like to ask who has had issues with these battery and what issues you had. The other two lost charge and would not charge back up.

mines been fine, let it go flat for 6 months charged it and its been fine since, they hate the cold though. only got a cca of 240.

Like Naith, mines fine until it gets cold then t just won't hold a charge for more than a week. Other than that, been perfect.

One of mine was crap, but I let it discharge fully and it was like that for a while, so I'm guessing that's the issue.

Did you use a ctek or equivalent optimiser Andy?

Yep but that was very overcharged.
