G'day squad,
Was just doing some browsing online on clio miscellaneous things.
Found out that the OEM oil filter manufacturer (Purflux) also sells a retail version that isn't renault branded or packaged for the clio 2.
OEM part number: 8200768913
Purflux part number: LS932
They seem to be exactly the same from what I can tell. Just without the aforementioned Renault branding or packaging.

Has anyone dealt with/used the LS932 before?
As for me its much easier to source then getting a 'Renault' one sent over to Aus or going through a stealership (dealership).

Attached are images for your reference.

Thanks guys!

As OEM ones are a little steep (especially locally) this definetly is a better alternative if they are the same.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have/had multiple OE suppliers for things like the oil filter.

Someone did cut a few apart once to compare them all Mick maybe? Do a search and should pop up 👍

This is a sample image from Fred. That now lives in Australia.

Left to right
Genuine Renault/Purflux, Ryco (Z608), Repco (local retail automotive brand. Equivilant to your Halfords).
Can see that the genuine has significantly more surface area. With the anti-drainback valve also being over better quality and the base plate being much thicker.

Ryco - the clue is in the name lol (Ripping You C*nts Off). The most overpriced and poor quality stuff around. Plenty of better and cheaper options.
