Oil catch tank & stock inlet

As I want to go turbo it might be a good idea to fit a catch tank some day, but the valve cover has a hole in it which goes straight to the oem inlet (phase1)

To fit a catch tank, I've read that you can use the fitting marked in green. But won't this still let oil go into the inlet?

Would I need to weld the hole in my inlet to prevent this?

Sorry if it's a silly question :D

catch can would mount in the line going from the valve cover to the inlet so run any pipes coming from the vc to the inlet through the can
