Oil Cooler Pipes!

I have a Mocal 13 row Oil cooler which i bought off a guy on here. It came with rubber hoses. Is there going to be any differences between the rubber hoses and the metal braided hoses?

Also does anyone know where i could get the braided hoses from, I tryed emailing a guy on ebay who sells the whole units and he wont sell me just the hoses.

earls plumbing / earls.co.uk - braided are just for extra wear and tear afaik if space is tight in the bay, as you dont want a rubber pipe wearing through
