oil for my 172

hey guys i need to do an oil change on my 172
ive read that i should use a 5w40 fully synthetic do motor factors sell this or do i have to order it mail style?

is 10w40 magnetec any good for these?

never heard of comma.

i use titan fuchs 5w 40 for my 172 as this is what we sell at work. we sell it a work due to the germans using it from the production line = it must be good!

comma is what all the motor factors seem to sell must be cheep sh&t.

i work for a swedish company and they use 0w30 and 10w 40 so thats no help

doh. 5w 40 is the recommended for the 172 engine.

but you can use 0W40, 5W40 and 10W40 no bother

ah cool we got big drums off 0w40 and 10w40 at work my get some of that in there.

is there much point of fully synthetic or a semi better?

Have a look at opie oils any of those will be fine.
