oil guages?

Ok,

Do the guages ever actually work propperly?

Level works when i first engage ignition

Temp sits happilly at about 100

pressure is quite low?


where should they all be?

the oil one should rise to the oil level when you turn the ignition on, then it'll driop to zero (don't rely on the guage in the car though)

the car should run at about 90 or so when warmed up, as for the oil pressure it'll be lower when the car is idling, it should rise when your driving.

I had mine for 3 years & they never packed up.

i never rely on guages,lol ive had a 5gtt LOL!

pressure does rise but not by an aweful lot?

could this be due to the wrong type of oil?

So long as the oil pressure goes up when you get the rpm up and drops when it comes down (will do it slowly) and pressures stay about the same and between 1 and 4 bar I'd say thats fin if you suddenly find it chnages from 3 bar to 1 bart at motorway speeeds then your pumps going to die very quickly so stop ASAP and get it replaced might last a few minutes or a few days.

Oil temps well so long as its under 120 degress there no problem over 115 due to hard driving a lot I'd chnage the oil every 3k though.
