oil in top strut

noticed when cleaning engine bay not a lot but just enough to notice it,has anyone else had or got this problem.

oh and by the way its on the 172 cup

Guess reno spilled some oil in there, there is no where in the sturt top for oil to come from, clean it out and forget about it

Id leave it there my tops have rusted so having some oil on them will help protect them. Just make sure its not to much as it might gon down the nut and loosen it.
