oil leaks covered on warranty? on 182

hi all,
have the famous oil leak is it rocker gasket ? or leaking through the bolts ?
the one i have read on here a few times...

emailed Renault and asked is it covered on the warranty, but there replie was they would have to look first, before they give me an answer.... surely they would know yes or no ?

bit worried about booking it in just for them to take a look ? is that gonna cost me, even if they said no not covered ? then i simply took the car elsewhere...
thinking about just getting my local independent guys to do it, when it goes in Thursday for braided hoses & new back brakes...??

its a massive job with new cambelt required (7hours approx)

blimey...

it is June 2005, with 36,000miles
so have 2 months warranty left... have emailed Renault Taylors back, to see what they say, now i think i know where it is leaking from..... as read another thread...

have just read that one guy got it all sorted.... from renault under warranty, depends where you go i guess....

just had the aux belt kit fitted last week........lol
